Toby Stevens will be addressing DIGIT’s GDPR Scotland Summit in Edinburgh on 21st November 2017. With a session focussed on the practicalities of GDPR preparation, and what to do if your organisation might not be ready in time, he’ll be offering practical tips based on his own experiences of assessing readiness and delivering GDPR change in a number of brand-name clients.

Toby Stevens will co-host a workshop at the International Association of Privacy Professionals’ Congress Europe 2017 in Brussels on 7th November. In his session Top 10 Operational Responses to GDPR: What You Should Do When, Toby will present with Sue Gold, Senior Counsel at Wyndham Worldwide, and Lauren Reid, President at The Privacy Pro, on key issues arising from GDPR assessment and implementation. The workshop is aimed at privacy professionals who are seeking real-world advice on their GDPR implementation and management, and will provide insights into:

  • The operational impact of the GDPR
  • The specific tasks that privacy professionals will need to complete in the next 6 months to help bring their organisations into compliance
  • A timetable and metrics for evaluating GDPR compliance success
